Peace

oilEvil.jpgSo, I was driving around yesterday and saw a bumper sticker. It was the classic "Give Peace a Chance." And then I thought of this picture and news report mentioning how these two anti-American forces are joining together to "defeat" America. At the same time, Iran continues to claim they're developing nuclear bombs to generate power, not to attack America. When does it end?

When I see those bumper stickers, I have to think what that person really means is, "I want peace at all costs." I wonder exactly how much people who want peace are willing to give up to have that peace. Are they willing to sacrifice themselves? Are they willing to give up liberty and freedom? Are they willing to volunteer an unconditional surrender to Muslims? Do they want to live in a country ruled by Islam?

I want peace, too. However, I still subscribe to the "Live Free or Die" theory. I want peace, but I'm not willing to give up freedom to have that peace. Admittedly, we don't have a lot of freedom left in America today -- but in order to have peace with Islam, we must submit to them and give them power over us. Sorry, but as much as I want peace, I'm not willing to do that. How bad do you want peace?

Victory in Iraq

Various presidential candidates are campaigning, telling the people that they will not support leaving Iraq until we achieve victory. Others are talking about leaving "with honor." The question I don't hear asked is, "What will that look like?"

How will we know when we've "won?" Will there be total peace in Iraq? Heck, we can't get that in any city in America. Will there be no terrorists? How would we know? Would there be a police force that has total control over it's citizens? Isn't that where we started?

Seriously, I'm wondering -- have you seen any candidate, anywhere, outline exactly what victory in Iraq will look like? Or do you have any ideas, personally, of what that might be?

Surrender in September

It's time. Many groups are joining forces. The dreambeat will get louder. The voices calling for immediate, unconditional surrender will scream. September is their month. Watch the news. Watch the TV. Watch blogs. The order of the month will be "surrender now." But some people are working against those who would surrender.

Now like those who support surrender, I want peace. I'd love to have peace now. I really would. However, unlike those who support the September Surrender, I do not want peace at any cost.

The peace that these people support is peace while living in Dhimmitude. The sort of peace these people suggest is peace while giving the world to Islam. Whether you think 1% of Muslims are dangerous or 99% doesn't matter -- surrender now IS surrender to the raidicals who will force you to convert or die. Surrender now will ensure that any "moderate" Muslim faction has no chance. Surrender now means that Islam will become the law of the land around the world.

A number of people claim that military might will not work. However, history strongly disagrees with them. In fact, history shows that not only can military might work, but it works whenever it's tried -- when it's used correctly. When we fought in WWII, we could have surrendered. We could have given in to either the Nazis or Japan. Instead, we used a mighty military, with massive force, to crush them -- and look at them now.

Japan is a great world economic power that has abandoned it's hereditary imperial ways. Germany is so peace-loving now that they are willing to submit and surrender to Islam.

There is no question we can win. However, it will take great courage and a lot of conviction -- which our current leadership, especially in the House and Senate, do not have. But if we can abjectly humiliate the Islamofascists, including their passive supporters that are the majority of the Muslims in the Middle East and the world, and show them that their hatred and their belief system is not tolerable in todays world, then they may come out of it like Japan and Germany.

I wish we could win the hearts and minds of the Muslims -- but thousands of years of history shows me that it isn't going to happen -- at least not on a large scale. We will only win with crushing military might.

Peace in Iraq

Cause out on the edge of darkness,
there rides a peace train
Oh peace train take this country,
come take me home again

Now I've been smiling lately,
thinking about the good things to come
And I believe it could be,
something good has begun

Come on, peace. Out there in the darkness, I really feel that peace is there. We can have peace. Sure, it will be difficult. Sure, it will require sacrifice. But how much sacrifice, and by whom? We can have peace right now if we surrender to Islam. How many people around the world are willing to do that? An awful lot, from what I read. But can we have peace without surrender?

Only for so long. In other words, we can stop fighting and continue resisting. We can stop attacking and simply defend. If that happens, the price will be high. The price will be death. Many people will be killed by the religion of peace -- but we'll have peace. Are you willing to pay that price, or would you rather obey the words of Mohammad in order to have peace?

Interestingly now, there appears to be only one candidate in the 2008 Presidential election campaign that wants peace and wants peace now. Hillary supports continued military action (today). McCain says pulling out is wrong. Democrats in Congress now say they will continue to fight. In fact, right now, there's only ONE candidate that wants to stop fighting in Iraq -- Ron Paul.

This could be quite an interesting campaign. If the American people, as the Democrats claim, are completely against this war, they will quickly unite behind Ron Paul. At this point, seriously, he is the ONLY presidential candidate that really wants to get out of Iraq now. I wonder if people will hear that message, or if his voice will be drowned out by all the other candidates -- who are ALL pro-war now.

Allah and Peace

I'm quite sure by now that everyone who isn't living under a rock (and even those of us who are) has heard of the bishop who says that we should all worship Allah to "ease tensions." Others more knowledgeable than I have written volumes condemning this bishop. I've seen no official reaction from the Catholic church. But I think I understand Bishop Tiny Muskens.

All Bishop Muskens wants is peace. And he's willing to do anything in the name of peace. Unfortunately, this simply won't work.

Look, I want peace, too. I very much want peace. I will not, however, do anything in order to get peace. This Bishop believes that if he can "build a bridge" between Christians and Muslims, then there will be peace between them. However, he comes from a Christian point of view and truly does not understand the state of mind of the Muslim. If you look at the reaction of the Muslim world to his statement, notice what you see:

Seriously. The only response from the Muslims in this Bishop's own country has been that they didn't ask for this. In other words, according to Muslims themselves, this action does absolutely nothing to appease the Muslims nor make peace with the religion of Islam.

However, in one thing, I think the Bishop may be right. The Bishop thinks that within 100 years, all Dutch churches will be using the name "Allah" for God. The way things are going now, that will be the case -- it's called "Dhimmitude." This is the process in which non-Muslims are permitted to live in countries ruled by Islam. Under this situation, ALL citizens are subject to all aspects of the Quran, no matter what your religion. It's a term used when a country has been conquered by Muslims -- to describe the losers in that battle.

In another area, however, I think this Bishop is way off. Now this Bishop is a Catholic. For those who aren't familiar with the Catholic religion, they believe that only priests are qualified to read the Bible and determine it's meaning. Therefore, technically, if you follow the Catholic religion, you're supposed to take the Bishop's word for whatever he says is in the Bible. If you're Christian, you can read the Bible yourself.

The Bishop claims that God doesn't care what you call him. The Bishop says it's okay to call God "Allah" because it just doesn't matter. However, if you read the Bible, the biggest reference to God's name is in Exodus 3:

Moses said to God, If I go to the Israelites and tell them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they ask me, What is his name? what should I say to them?

God said to Moses, I am that I am.

I don't read anywhere where it says, "Gee, Moses, just call me whatever you want. I don't really care." It doesn't say, "You know, my name really is Allah, but you Jewish people can just call me anything." I don't see, "Call me anything, just don't call me late for dinner." That's simply not what it says. Personally, I think God is above being named by mere morals. He just IS.

But personal religion aside, again, I think this Bishop is misguided. He honestly believes that by appeasing the Muslims that there will be peace today. I want there to be peace -- but this Bishop is willing to give up everything for peace -- including his own religion. Please take careful note of the response of the Muslims world to these actions -- THEY DON'T CARE. In other words, simply calling God "Allah" is NOT advancing peace in any way, shape or form -- it's simply surrendering to the religion of Islam.

Support this Bishop and his actions if you like -- but be prepared to follow all the tenets of Sharia Law if you do.

Peace

Now I've been happy lately,
thinking about the good things to come
And I believe it could be,
something good has begun

Oh I've been smiling lately,
dreaming about the world as one
And I believe it could be,
some day it's going to come

Some day there will be peace. There will. Contrary to the message from the left, I seriously do not like war. I don't want war. I want peace right now. The problem is, you can't force someone into peace.

My mother always said that it takes two to fight. A lot of mothers say that. Know who I don't hear say that very often? Fathers. Sure, it may take two to fight, but what do the fathers always say? They say, "Who threw the first punch?"

Wouldn't it be great if we could do that with the middle east today? Okay, you guys, who threw the first punch? Whoever did has to go sit in the corner. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen. The only way we're going to have peace today is if the Muslims stop attacking anyone who isn't Muslim. We need more, MANY more Muslims to speak out like this:

it must be stated that no right thinking follower of Islam could possibly condone such an action [9/11]: The Qur'an equates the murder of one innocent person with the murder of the whole of humanity

Come on work with me! Make peace!

Iraq Withdrawl

I think this cartoon really shows the current problem in Iraq quite well.

Peace in Africa

I wish we could have more peace.

Instead, we're sending 26,000 people to Darfur. They're "peacekeeping" troops, but they're heading there for war. It is highly likely there will be lots of killing and death. Why can't we have peace?

Of course, there's already been as many as 125,000 people that have already been killed in the Darfur region in the past few years. So when the "UN" troops arrive, don't blame the new arrivals for the deaths. Don't blame the "invading force" for lack of peace. The lack of peace comes from the people who are currently living in Darfur that continue to kill one another.

I don't like killing and death. I wish they would just stop. Why can't we have more peace? I call on all the Muslims in Darfur to stop killing one another today so we can have peace.

Peace

Now I've been happy lately,
thinking about the good things to come
And I believe it could be,
something good has begun

Oh, the good things that are in store for us!

Oh I've been smiling lately,
dreaming about the world as one
And I believe it could be,
some day it's going to come

Can you imagine? The world at peace? No killing and dying?

Cause out on the edge of darkness,
there rides a peace train
Oh peace train take this country,
come take me home again

Oh, come on peace train! Come take this country on a ride. I want peace!

Now I've been smiling lately,
thinking about the good things to come
And I believe it could be,
something good has begun

If everyone would work together, we could have peace. For everyone.

Oh peace train sounding louder
Glide on the peace train
Come on now peace train
Yes, peace train holy roller

Here it comes! Peace on earth! No war, but peace!

Everyone jump upon the peace train
Come on now peace train

Get your bags together,
go bring your good friends too
Cause it's getting nearer,
it soon will be with you

The time is now! Come, everyone, join with me. Let us have peace now. Why must there be more dying and killing?

Now come and join the living,
it's not so far from you
And it's getting nearer,
soon it will all be true

It's not so far. It's not so hard. Join me in peace.

Now I've been crying lately,
thinking about the world as it is
Why must we go on hating,
why can't we live in bliss

Why can't we have peace? Why won't people live in peace?

Cause out on the edge of darkness,
there rides a peace train
Oh peace train take this country,
come take me home again

It's still there! We can have peace now. So let's have it. I call on Muslims around the world to stop attacking and killing Americans in the name of a false prophet. Instead, please, let us have peace, and let us have peace now.
