Ogre's Politics & Views: mmMMMmm...Beer

Too much crap in the news. I'm just in information overload, beyond words on so many issues while the President gives away our country. So, on a tip from Beth, I'd like to point out an upcoming competition:

Anheuser-Busch is hosting a consumer contest called “Who Would You Have a Beer With?” at herestobeer.com. Entrants can nominate anyone – famous or unknown – and have 50 words or less to make their case. One grand prize winner will receive a trip for four to Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. The contest runs from April 3 through May 31.

It doesn't start until Monday, but get your thoughts started now!

My answer would be: Anybody. I love beer. But, since I have to choose somebody specific, I'd nominate Bertrand Russell, because he was a genius, and I'd love to be 1/200th as smart as he was.
