So...I have a question.
If President Bush, when discussing the war in Iraq, relied on sources of information that were inaccurate, but no one knew at the time were inaccurate, and said some things that may not have been correct, lied, then...
When the media announced that the miners in WV were alive, by relying on information that was incorrect at the time, even if it was not known, doesn't that mean that the media lied?
Now can we all run around repeating, "The Media Lied?"
Yep, if the left does not know the difference between lies and mistakes why should we.
Yes, "the media lied, people died." Let's all chant together now. . .
Shouldn't your post read "Are the Media Liars?"
I thought Media is the plural of Medium.
Justin, it's a headline designed to draw attention. Like the press I'm mocking, I tend not to follow the proper rules of English in headlines to make it fit, or to intentionally draw your attention. :)
I've been foiled by the Ogre!
Yes. That's an objective way of analyzing sources.
Seems to be fair...
Of course that's what sets the conservatives and non-government types apart from the media and big-government types of all stripes (Democrat and Republican) -- some of us are honest, while they are not.
